Another Way to Look at Budget
It's Time to Reframe Your Thoughts on Decor Spending
I love a good deal. Sales are hard to resist. I want to make sure I am always getting the biggest bang for my buck.
But, I've learned the hard way a few times, that you really do get what you pay for. And, it is true for decorating too.
Now, I am not about to profess spending big bucks on home decor and furniture. Everyone has their own budget constraints. What I think is a big ticket item, might be no big deal to you. What I think is low, might feel high to you. So, I am not going to go there.
Instead, I want you to focus on how you spend your money when it comes to decorating.
If you want that big gorgeous piece of art, what are you doing spending $20 here and there (and everywhere) on tchothckes? All those little purchases are stealing from the things you really want.
Just like with anything else in life, you have to prioritize, budget, and plan for the things you really want.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
It's up to you to decide where you will spend your money. Where is it worth splurging. Where it is worth saving.
